Holy cow!! I got chills watching that!! Thank you so much for sharing that today! I loved his talk in conference and joked with my husband that his talk is how I justify all of the money I spend in my hobby of photography and scrapbooking heehee! You have a lucky ward to get to hear you speak. I'm sure that was a treat!
You did a wonderful job speaking!!! And it was a great talk by Elder Uchtdorf as well - thanks for posting the clip so I'd remember to watch it! Have fun this week... I'll miss you ladies at YW!
Wow! That is awesome....needed that today, as We try to "create" Camp! What a project....and dealing with parents....what an even bigger project! :) I'm sure you did a fantastic job on your talk! Thanks for sharing this!
I gave a lesson on Elder Uchtdorf's talk months ago, and even then it was so good to hear the inspired counsel again. Inspired testimony accompanied by Elder Uchtdorf's inspired counsel= inspired talk. Thanks!
A little over 3 years ago an experience happened to me that has paralized me. I let "the critics" get to me and right now I am all but one comment away from being completely broken. Everyday I pray hard for something to remind me of my worth so I can rebuild. Thank you for sharing this. It is a start :)
Wendy Wow it's Weird...I spoke in Sunday too and I used portions of this same talk in my own. However, mine was on "comfort those who stand in need of comfort" and I used his Peter Pan quote: Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. By the way...I talked about you a little and how you've inspired me with your wisdom and that was not the best idea cuz it made me do the weird crackly trying-not-to-cry-talk-voice ;) Miss ya old friend! Old meaning known you over 20yrs--not the "we're old" way ;)
Rich and I were married March 22, 1988 in the Salt Lake Temple. Our family quickly grew to 6, with our 4 children in 9 years. For the past 18 years we have lived in Syracuse, and really feel like this is home. Family is what it is all about!
